President 2006, Star Touring & Riding Association, San Fernando Valley, Chapter 237
Chapter Motto: "A little bit of heaven, the 237" I ride a 1996 Yamaha Royal Star whom I call "My Magnificent Machine" and she feels like the Queen Mary when I manuever her down the road. Mods are as follows: Dyna 3000, Big Air Kit, Chrome Werks pipes and a rejet to the carbs. Increased the horsepower to around 85 HP. Also have added saddle bags, Corbin seat, Baron's Pullbacks, passing lights, windshield, Universal Throttle Lock, J&M CB, RioRiot MP3 Player, modified the rear turn-signals turning them into running lights that flash when the brakes are applied, mounted authentic Indian Head (lighted) on front fender, chrome fender bumpers, Leatherlyke Tail bag, Utopia backrest, colorful red LEDs under the gas tank, gas tank bra, Rivco air horns...and I'm not done yet.
There are any number of pictures of the bike taken by Phil. Just go through his albums and pick one... Why do I ride: My Scottish grandmother immigrated to Canada as a young girl. In the 20's she was tearing up the gravel roads in Alberta on her Excelsior-Henderson. Riding is in my genes. I have now, as of last week, been riding for 54 years. As far as personal information goes, I am older than dirt and the happy husband of Debby and the proud dad of Naia who is almost 11 years old.
