Chapter 237 Webmaster

I've been with the chapter for just over a year (joined in 2006). I had just bought a 2006 VStar 650 Silverado. After being off a bike for quite some time, I figured "start small" and hang around people who can help you. What a big help they were...."get rid of those stickers !!" ...lowering was introduced to me as well as answers and a chance to sit on the same bike I had  which was lowered. (Thanks Phil & Lucy)

I wanted to give something back to the chapter as they had given me so much. The beautiful rides around So. Cal. LOTS of information. Everyone willing to help out with upgrades or "blinky Lights" getting installed. A sense of family hanging out with family. I thought I'd help out with the website. After a few brief discussions, It was decided that I should take over the website. I've enjoyed doing it and am looking forward to continuing to maintain it.

Just over a year after I purchased my 650, I decided that it was time to move up to something a little bigger.  It was a sound decision at the time (with the guidance of many members). Yes, I bought the Black VSTAR 1300 Tourer (the fastest by far). As it always happens, a better deal comes along AFTER you've bought something...so in the meantime, I'm slowly modifying, upgrading, and making the bike "my own" while quickly driving and enjoying the new power. (I know this bike can get 45+MPG...if I could get the throttle to stop accelerating so quick to 80, Id be OK)

I look forward to seeing you all at bike night !! Maybe I can put your pictures here too?
