I currently ride a Star Midnight Stratoliner neo-streamlined cruiser all decked out in beautiful Raven black paint with 113-cubic-inches (1854cc) of undeserved power.
To the consternation of many, I keep the bike as G-d intended (I mean the original design engineers) in original factory condition*. No aftermarket pipes, no rejecting, no extra chrome. The only mods are the bag guards and the “Indian” fender that the designers forgot to add on to complete the neo lines of the bike. I did however change the seat to an Ultimate and have a backrest for long journeys.
Why do I ride: Because I want to, because I have to, because I love it.
* I am presently looking for a good therapist regarding the “factory condition” thing and I hope to have it licked soon.
Other bikes I've owned
V Star 1100 Custom; all factory painted in plum and platinum (which has been described as purple as beige by some rather rude people)
