While a child of the seventies, I had a gorgeous Norton Commando 750 – but hadda sell it, poverty being the cause. Eons later upon semi-retiring, I attempted to recapture my lost youth by getting a Suzuki Intruder 1400. Soon outgrew it and moved up to a Road Star 1600, which I loved. But, the wife didn’t like the color. (You can’t make this stuff up!)
She saw an ad for the ’06 Stratoliner and said “that’s the color you should have”. So, I drained the wallet and now we both like the ‘Liner. It’ll probably be my last bike. Riding in LA suxx, but in the great outdoors, it’s wonderful therapy !
