In High School I used to ride a Yamaha RD400 sport bike that I mostly used for transportation when I didn't drive my car. I sold that bike shortly after High School and for 25 years I kept wanting to get another motorcycle.
About 3 years ago I bought a Suzuki 1400 and decided to get back into riding. I went to a high school parking lot to practice my skills until I felt comfortable enough to ride on the street again. After about a year, I realized that I had outgrown that bike and went out and purchased a brand new Yamaha 2005 Midnight Royal Star Venture. I have had this bike a little over 2 years now and have put on 55,000 miles of pure riding Pleasure.
Riding gives me a new sense of adventure and a chance to meet a lot of really neat people that I might not have met otherwise. Riding is a form of therapy for me, and when I'm on my bike I experience a sense of freedom that I don't get anywhere else.
